Matt Webster is an award-winning performer and writer. As an actor, Matt has been seen on Broadway, off-Broadway, and on National Tours across North America. Matt's award winning plays and musicals have been seen off-Broadway, regionally, and internationally. 

 

In addition to numerous awards for his screenplays, Matt has written and produced nine short films as the Resident Writer for the New York Film Academy. Matt serves as the Creative Director of Andrew Lippa’s production company, Made Up World, is a Johnny Mercer Award Winner, and was recently named the 2023/2024 Abingdon Theatre Company’s Artist in Residence.

 A proud Appalachian, Matt grew up in the Ohio Valley, graduated from West Virginia University, where he currently serves as a Creative Consultant, and is a member of the Alumni Group, WVUArtistsAligned.
