FAT MAN'S
play | cast of 2
Winnie is a local minister of a small Presbyterian church in West Virginia. A recent transplant from NYC, Winnie is progressive and eager to bring big change to the area. A few months into her tenure, one of her parishioners dies and leaves all her properties to the church: a block of storefronts on main street. The only business left is a tattoo parlor called Fat Man’s. Winnie becomes the landlord of Fat Man’s and meets Fat Man himself - a closed-off and grumpy tattoo artist. What starts out as a dysfunctional business relationship, soon turns into an unlikely friendship. But with major life events on the horizon for both of them, their faith in each other - and the world - gets tested.
FAT MAN’S is a play about love, tattoos, and discovering the Godliness that lives inside all of us.
